Jackson Will Celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday During Read Across America


 During the week of February 25th-March 4th, Dr. Seuss will be on the loose at Jackson School.  There are many fun activities going on that promote reading literacy with children.  There will be readers from  Camden High School. We will host an author visit from Henry Cole and a Reading Magic Show with Tim Sonefelt. There will also be fun daily themes for students to participate in throughout the week.

  • Monday-I Can Read with My Eyes Shut-Wear Readable clothes
  • Tuesday-Fox in Sox-Wear your crazy socks
  • Wednesday– Wacky Wednesday-Wear something wacky
  • Thursday-Reading and LEADing on Leadership Day- Wear your Leadership T-shirt
  • Friday-Cat in the Hat-Wear your favorite hat and donate $1 to Relay for Life
