Mrs. Bonds

My name is Mrs. Jennifer Bonds and I am beyond excited to be joining the LES family! This will be my 15th year in education with experience in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina. I also earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment (Walden University) and in Educational Leadership (Grand Canyon University). My husband, James, and I have 2 children, Charlee (5) and Hollen (1). We have one fur baby, a yellow lab (Belle, 7).

Mrs. CorreaMy name is Valerie Correa, and I am so honored to be a part of the Lugoff Elementary family as a Third Grade Teacher. I graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. My experience of eight years has varied, ranging from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. I currently have two endorsements: English to Speaking of Other Languages, Gifted & Talented. My family and I just recently moved to Lugoff from Miami, Florida, where we’ve lived our entire lives! Lugoff is our new adventure to raise our family, and I cannot wait to explore! In my free time, I enjoy anything and everything that involves home decor. Home goods, Marshall’s, and Target are a couple of my favorites. Communication and collaboration are key to a successful school year. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. We are here to work together for your child’s success.

What an exciting opportunity to learn and serve at LES, where I attended as a child many years ago! I feel like I am coming home! Mrs. Menendez

Hello! My name is Allison Menendez, and I am so excited to join the Lugoff Elementary family as a special education teacher. I am originally from Spartanburg, SC, and recently moved to Lugoff when my husband was stationed at Shaw Air Force Base. This assignment will bring him to retirement, and we are happy to call Lugoff our forever home! We have 4 children- Adriana (13), Madison (11), Colton (9), and Holly (8). I received my bachelor's from Clemson University (Go Tigers!), and my master's from Converse College. I have been in the special education classroom for 14 years, teaching students ranging from 3-21 years old. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you!

My name is Laura Picariello. I am an Instructional Assistant at Lugoff Elementary School. My family and I recently moved from New York to Elgin, SC. While living in NY, I worked at Stony Point Elementary School for 4 years. I am a mother to 3 wonderful boys. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, reading, baking and spending time with my family.
Mrs. Sears
Hello all! I’m Cheron Tate Sears. I am super excited about beginning my first year as a 4K Assistant at LES. I have been absent from the work force for eight years. I dedicated those eight years to my husband and our two beautiful children, Ava and Alexander. Although I didn’t attend LES, I did attend Kershaw County Schools, which makes working at LES even more special. I cannot wait to meet all of the new 4K babies and watch them learn and blossom. This school year is going to be great!  In my spare time, I can always be found with my two babies shopping, couponing and drinking coffee at Starbucks. I love to decorate my home, read, and enjoy the little things in life.
