Welcome to Our NEW LES Faculty and Staff Members!
Introducing our New LES Family Members:
My name is Erin Blizzard and this will be my first year teaching 4K at Lugoff Elementary. I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. I was raised in Kershaw County, so I am extremely grateful to be given the opportunity to give back to my community that I love so dearly.
Right now, I am engaged to my high-school sweetheart, Colin. We live right here in Lugoff with our two incredible dogs, Chet and Bella. I enjoy spending time on Lake Wateree, traveling, eating San Jose, going to Carolina football games, and hanging out with my family and friends.
I am excited to see you all this August. Let’s get ready for a year filled with learning and fun!
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Claflin University in my hometown, Orangeburg, SC. After moving to Columbia, I earned my Masters Degree in Administration and Supervision from Southern Wesleyan University.
I have extensive experience teaching reading, math, social studies, and science to elementary students. I have worked with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and in various school settings. I recently completed a year of international teaching in Cairo, Egypt, which was an exciting and unique learning experience.
Outside of my profession, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two sons, baby Callan and rising middle schooler, Cameron and a dog named Rocky. We love taking road trips together, exploring places near and far.
No matter what special moments life brings, you can always find me capturing them through photography, one of my favorite hobbies. Last but not least....Gooooo Tigers!
