GRADUATION PLANS 2020

Robbins Graduation Bitmoji Today’s update is going to focus on our “graduation ceremony” plans for 2020.  We have been brainstorming and planning for alternative solutions since the onset of this pandemic nearly six weeks ago.  We have weighed all of our options in an effort to provide our seniors and their families with the most memorable and positive experience possible.  After nearly 13 years of structured education, this is a culminating experience, and we want to celebrate and recognize them in a manner deserving of their hard work to achieve this goal.  Because there is no guarantee that we will be able to avoid the social distancing requirements for the secondary date in June, the high school principals were in agreement that our best option would be to stay with our original graduation dates, following social distancing guidelines with some slight modification in start times.  Below is the schedule for graduation moving forward.  Barring any major uptick in the curve and spike in new cases, these are solid dates and time moving forward.  A special thanks to Mrs. Corner (CHS), Mr. Branham (NCHS), Mr. Thomasson (LEHS) and Mr. Matthews (KCSD Director of Secondary Education) for their cooperation and collaboration in the development of this plan.
