What is the Continuous Learning Center (CLC)?
Continuous Learning Center (CLC) is a therapeutic educational facility that offers intensive and highly individualized assessments, clinical interventions, and academic services. Designed for students with challenging emotional needs, CLC provides assistance through a range of individual, family, and group treatment interventions within a small and highly structured educational setting. In addition to the academic curriculum, we offer a daily enrichment time tailored to address the unique talents of the individual. Art, woodworking, mindfulness practices, computer skills, music and art appreciation, career awareness, and individual and group games are a few of the interesting topics offered through these activities. Each placement is designed specifically for the individual with the expectation that the student will benefit from the program by developing important life skills. The length of the student’s enrollment in CLC is determined by the progress of each student and his or her individual needs. CLC is not designed solely for disciplinary purposes.
