The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) will have half-days for students on June 11 and 14, the last two days of the school year.
Students in 3-year-old developmentally delayed classes will not attend school on those days. Elementary schools and CLC will dismiss at 11:30 a.m., middle schools at 11:45 a.m. and high schools at noon. Woolard Technology Center students will be dismissed at 11 a.m.
High school graduations will be held this weekend and live-streamed at www.kcsdschools.net/graduation. North Central High School's graduation will be held June 11 at 7:30 p.m. Camden High School's graduation will be June 12 at 9 a.m. while Lugoff-Elgin High School's ceremony will be the same day at 7:30 p.m.
The last meal pick-up for the 2020-2021 school year will be June 10. This summer, KCSD is partnering with the United Way of Kershaw County to provide free meals for any child 18 or younger. The pick-up site will be Camden High School.
Families will continue to register for meals by 7 p.m. on Monday nights at www.kcsdschools.net/mealorder. Starting June 17, a week's worth of meals will be distributed every Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. with the last meal pick up on July 22.
