Galuppi to serve as NCES assistant principal

Kristen GaluppiNorth Central Middle School (NCMS) Reading Teacher Kristen Galuppi has been selected to serve as the assistant principal at the new North Central Elementary School.

"We are excited to have Kristen join the North Central Elementary team," said Mt. Pisgah Elementary School Principal Britt Gardner who will serve as the principal for North Central Elementary School when it opens. "She has close family ties to our community and has a proven track record of being a teacher leader everywhere she has been in the past. I am looking forward to working with her as she follows the natural progression into her new role as NCES’s assistant principal."

Galuppi was named NCMS Teacher of the Year for 2019-20 and is a graduate of the Kershaw County School District's Developing Administrators Program. At NCMS, she has served as the team leader for 7th grade, the technology integration specialist and the chair of the technology committee.

"I am so grateful to have the opportunity to continue to serve my community at North Central Elementary," Galuppi said. "I am looking forward to the upcoming school year and the amazing things I know we will achieve."

Galuppi has a Master of Education in Educational Administration degree from Grand Canyon University, a middle level certification in English Language Arts and Social Studies from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education degree from Coastal Carolina University.
