Stover Middle School Nurse Elizabeth Starling has been named as the District Nurse for the Kershaw County School District (KCSD) as part of the system's efforts to expand its health and safety services.
“There has never been a more important time to have a health care professional at the district level helping to direct our efforts,” said KCSD Superintendent Shane Robbins. “Nurse Starling has an outstanding reputation for her medical abilities, professionalism and caring nature. All of our students will now benefit from her leadership.”
Starling joined the KCSD staff in June of 2000 and has served eight different KCSD schools in her almost 21 years as a school nurse. Prior to that, she worked as a nurse for SC DHEC and Pediatric Associates. She received an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Midlands Technical College.
