KCSD to deliver student meals along bus routes

March 17, 2020

KApple Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, the Kershaw County School District will deliver free meals to students along its bus routes.

Lunch, as well as breakfast for the following day, will be delivered together at normal bus stops.  Buses will leave the four pick up food sites—Bethune Elementary, Blaney Elementary, Camden High and North Central Middle--between 9:30 and 10 a.m. on weekdays.

You do not have to sign up for this service.  All students at the bus stops will receive meals.

If you have any questions about bus routes, please contact our Bus Offices.  You can find their numbers at

KCSD will continue to operate the food “grab and go” meal sites.  Pick up is along the bus rider line at each school with breakfast available from 7 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Meals on the bus and at the food sites are available to all children age 18 and younger. Students do not have to be bus riders and their meal status during the year does not apply. Students must be present at the food site or at the bus stop.
