KCSD now hiring school bus drivers, substitute food service employees

The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) is hiring school bus drivers and substitute food service employees.
A person interested in becoming a bus driver should be able to pass a drug test, background check, DOT physical exam and a physical performance test. A candidate also must have a high school diploma or GED and a negative TB test. In addition, an applicant must have had a driver’s license for at least a year and have less than four points against it. Pay is based on experience and includes benefits.
KCSD is also looking for persons who are interested in serving as substitutes in its school cafeterias. Food Service substitutes are paid $9 per hour and have the potential to become permanent part-time employees. There are currently several part-time openings so interested persons are encouraged to apply.
