KCSD parent-teacher conferences available Oct. 10, 11

October 2, 2019

Parent Teacher Conference The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) is holding parent-teacher conferences Oct. 10 and 11.

KCSD students will attend school on Oct. 10, and then teachers will be available for conferences with parents from 3:30 to 7 p.m. that day as well as from 8 to 11 a.m. on Oct. 11. Students do not attend school on Oct. 11, and schools will close that day at 11 a.m.  The district office will be open Oct. 10 and 11 on a regular schedule.

KCSD Superintendent Shane Robbins said that the parent-teacher conference days are planned to coincide with the ending of the first nine-week grading period on Oct. 22.  “Parents can request conferences with teachers at any time, but setting aside a certain time to do so on our calendar with evening hours helps to make it possible for many of our parents to attend, especially those who work during the weekdays.”
