Stover Middle School commemorates 9/11 with Hero Day Wednesday

Stover Blood Drive Stover Middle School will host Hero Day on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 8:25 - 10 a.m. to honor local, state and national heroes. 
 
Students will rotate through various learning stations including viewing service vehicles and hearing from guest speakers. The middle schoolers will learn about 9/11 in their content classes and write letters to local heroes and four groups of National Guard soldiers just deployed in their English classes. Letters will be mailed and/or hand delivered.

  • American Legion Post 17 
  • Alpha Center
The school is also hosting a blood drive from 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. All donors will receive a free haircut coupon from Sports Clips.
