KCSD to use eLearning for Jan. 7, Feb. 18

eLearning Days for Weather Make-Up The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) will use eLearning for students on Jan. 7 and Feb. 18, the two make up days being used because of inclement weather earlier this fall.

“Although we previously had been approved to use eLearning for inclement weather days, we were not ready back in September and October when hurricanes impacted our area,” said KCSD Superintendent Shane Robbins. “We’ve taken our time to train teachers, order equipment and have our procedures in place so we’ll use eLearning on our make up days.”

Robbins said that teachers will schedule specific office hours on those days so that students will know when they are available to answer questions. “More details will be coming later, but we’re excited to kick off 2019 with eLearning. Our mock eLearning day went very well, and we’re ready.”
