Personal Electronic Device Free Policy
To create a safe, focused, and distraction-free learning environment, Kershaw County schools are now cell phone free and personal electronic device free during the school day.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Phones and personal electronic devices must be powered off and stored in backpacks or lockers from arrival to dismissal.
- No use of smartwatches, tablets, wireless earbuds, wearable technology, or accessories during school hours.
- Exceptions will be allowed for medical or educational needs with written approval.
