Registration for the 2021-22 School Year

  • Returning RegistrationIf you have received your registration code by email, then you are ready to register.  If you have not received your child's registration code, please contact your child's school.  Schools will be open for registration for three days — July 12, 13 and 14 — from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. for families who do not have internet access or who need assistance.

Returning registration can be completed online in 3 steps:

    1. Complete online registration - Complete a registration using the registration code link above as soon as possible. The information you provide will be used to develop student schedules and teacher assignments that will be sent to families electronically before school starts on August 5. If you have questions about KCSD's reopening plans, you can see more details here: www.kcsdschools.net/return.

    2. Pay fees - All students will pay a $5 technology fee. Families will have the option to use www.myschoolbucks.com for online payments for a variety of items such as the fees for technology, parking, athletics and yearbooks. Myschoolbucks.com charges a processing fee for online payments. Parents who do not want to use the online payment system will need to pay fees to the school on the Registration Help Days.

    3. Submit a meal benefits application - Families can complete applications and check their status at www.kcsdschools.net/meals. For the 2021-22 school year, all Kershaw County School District students are eligible to receive free meals.  However, we encourage all of our families to apply for meal benefits through our online meal application system, as it provides other advantages to families and our district including data for the PEBT benefits received by virtual students.
