On Thursday, May 7, 15 seniors representing Camden, Lugoff-Elgin and North Central high schools participated in Kershaw County School District’s Annual Future Educator Signing Day. The event, hosted by KCSD’s Teacher Forum, celebrated students who have decided to pursue careers in the field of education.

The signing day provided a chance for students, their families, and their educators to gather together and honor the impact of teachers past, present and future.

"We love celebrating these students who have decided to pursue the often difficult, yet richly rewarding career of public education," Jenny Proctor, Teacher Forum member, said. "We hope to see them return home to Kershaw County, but no matter where they go, we will always be proud of the fact that they are products of our amazing community.”
