Dear KCSD Families and Staff,
As you are aware, the weather forecast for tomorrow is calling for very cold and windy conditions in our area. KCSD Schools will operate on a regular schedule on Monday, December 15, 2025.
We are making the following accommodations to ensure a smooth and warm start to the day:

The heat at all schools and district offices has been placed in occupied mode all weekend so that buildings stay warm and do not have to heat up in the morning.

The State School Bus Shop will have additional early morning staff on duty in case any buses have issues with the cold.
Parents, please be sure that your students dress appropriately for the cold weather.
