I have been a public school teacher for 34 years. Teaching is my passion! I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in second grade, thanks to a beautiful teacher named Mrs. Eleanor Stuart. I still fashion my teaching style from her. I graduated from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in New Jersey. Several years ago, I earned my MBA in Education. I obtained National Board Certification in 2001. I am married to a wonderful man named Tom and we have three grown children. We are grandparents to seven fantastic children: three boys and four girls. My philosophy in education is two-fold. One, I believe in all children reaching their maximum potential. They come to me with unique personalities and promise, and I am honored to be a part of their lives. Second, I believe that a teacher should never stop learning. The world changes every day and it is important to keep up with those changes.
