Rhonda Horton is our ELA Intervention teacher. She works with students to strengthen reading skills and strategies. She enjoys motivating students to use good work ethics as they become stronger readers.
Mrs. Horton earned her bachelor's degree from Winthrop University and her Master's of Education from the University of Georgia. She added her "Plus 30" in Divergent Learners from Francis Marion University and is a Nationally Certified teacher. She has been loving children and teaching kids to read for 39 years.
Mrs. Horton has been married to Carl Horton for 37 years. They have 3 beautiful children, one daughter-in-law, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. She believes that God has called her not only to teach children to read, but to also touch their hearts by teaching them the "Bucket Theory" and the importance of keeping buckets filled through daily acts of kindness.
