I began my professional career at Camden High School in 1989 as a math teacher. I also taught math in the Adult Education Night program. My administrative career began in 2002 as the Assistant Principal of Lugoff-Elgin Middle School. I became the principal in 2004. After 6 successful years at LEMS, I became principal at Camden High School in 2010. In November of 2019, I was named Director of Secondary Education for KCSD and am also the Director of Professional Development. In spring of 2021, I was named Chief Academic Officer. I am married to Lynn. I have two children: Roland, the Defensive Coordinator at Presbyterian College who is married to Caitlin, and my daughter Meg, a student at Wofford College.
