I graduated from Winthrop University and moved to Camden in 1987.  I worked as the program director at the Kershaw County Recreation Department and and coached the CHS JV Volleyball team from 1988-1992.  I began teaching at Camden high in 1993 and have coached the CHS Varsity Volleyball team since 1994.  I teach primarily Physical Education 1 and the new Unified PE course.  I am a co-sponsor of the Bulldog Buddies club which joins students with and without special needs in social and sport settings.  

I am married with three children.  My late husband Paul was the manager of Home Goods in Columbia. My son Jimmy graduated from UT and lives in Nashville Tennessee.  Both of my daughters are CHS graduates.  Madison married, lives in Charleston and is a school psychologist at Devon Forest Elementary in Goose Creek, SC.  Morgan graduated from Presbyterian College this past spring and pursuing her doctorate in Psychology with a goal to be a college professor.
