Greetings Bulldogs,


On behalf of the administration, faculty, and staff of Camden High School, I welcome you to another exciting school year. It is our vision and goal to give every student the education and skills necessary to be a productive, valuable young adult of character both here and in life beyond high school. Our goal is for you to be College or Career Ready when you graduate. We look forward to developing positive working, ongoing relationships with you and your families. Our job is to provide you with the most outstanding high school experience that Kershaw County can provide.

It is our vision of Camden High School that we provide a world class education to all of our students. We strive to provide experiences in all avenues of a student’s career leading to successful adulthood and citizenship in our community. That involves academics, athletics, leadership, service to others and community, extracurricular activities, and the arts. By participating in these activities and becoming involved in our school, you will have a more successful high school experience.

However, this experience will take a coordinated effort on many fronts. Our teachers will strive to provide engaging, thought provoking lessons. Our administration will provide a safe and orderly environment for you to prosper. Your parents will support you and the teachers in helping you achieve your goals and aspirations. You will need to work hard, be in school, behave as a young adult of good character, and give your best effort in all that you do. It is through this partnership that you can truly meet your dreams, and we can become as our alma mater says, “the best old high school anywhere”.
