I’m so excited that your child and you will be a part of my class at Lugoff Elementary!  There is so much to learn and so much to do, but as a team of parents, teachers, students, and administrators, we’ll work together to make this a special time in your child’s life.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you better as the year goes on, and I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself.  I grew up and still live in Camden.  I am the godmother of three wonderful children and the grandmother of three boys and four girls, who are the lights of my life! 

I have an undergraduate degree from Furman University and a Master’s Degree from the University of South Carolina (although I’m a Tennessee fan!).  This will be my 26th year at LES!  I also coach varsity softball at Camden High School.  I love cooking, reading, and gardening. In the summer you may find me picking blueberries from my bushes!

I’m really looking forward to working with you and your child.  It is a privilege to have your child in my classroom.  I know that we can work together to make Lugoff Elementary a great place for your child to learn and grow!
