  About Me...

 My name is Melody Johnson, and I have been an educator since 1994.  This is the job I was created to do.  I am passionate about students and learning and cannot imagine spending my days doing anything else.  

 

I proudly graduated from Furman University in 1994. I received my Master of Education degree in 1998 and National Board Certification in 2002 and 2012. I was the 2009 Kershaw County Teacher of the Year and a 2010-2011 Finalist for SC Teacher of the Year. I have experience in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I absolutely LOVE teaching and am thrilled to get to work in my very own elementary school!!
