I am proud to be the School Counselor at Lugoff Elementary. My job is to help students be the best they can be academically, emotionally, and socially. I meet with students individually and/or in groups to help them achieve their full potential. I also see every student through classroom guidance at least an hour per month, presenting topics such as: Study Skills, Bully prevention, Drug and Alcohol prevention, Peer Relationships, Making Healthy Choices, and Conflict Resolution.
I am happy to speak with you regarding any concerns you have about your student(s). Please don't hesitate to call, email me, or set up an appointment to meet with me.
This is my 14th year as a School Counselor and 10th year at LES. I have a BA from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) in Psychology and an M.Ed from the Citadel in Counselor Education. I am married to Casey and we have one son, Will. I enjoy reading, spending time with my boys, and watching the World Champion Braves play baseball!
I believe that it truly does take a village and I am honored to be a part of yours!
