I am humbled and honored to serve as the principal of Lugoff Elementary School. Born and raised in Camden, SC, I am a proud graduate of Camden High School (CHS). Upon graduating from CHS, I attended Clemson University, where I received a BA in Elementary Education. After graduating from Clemson, I returned home to Camden and taught 4th and 5th grades at Camden Elementary (now Jackson School) and Pine Tree Hill Elementary. While teaching, I returned to graduate school and received a Masters in Educational Administration from Winthrop University and an Education Specialist Degree in Counselor Education from the University of South Carolina. In 1998, I joined the Lugoff Elementary School family as assistant principal and became the principal of this outstanding school in 2004. Truly a life long learner, I completed my academic career by earning a Doctorate in 2014 from Walden University.
Outside of school, I am mother to a wonderful son, William, married to a jokester husband, Reggie, and mama to one furry baby, Josie. I am proud to be a Lugoff Elementary Count and hope that you are too!
