Mrs. Kim Spivey

This is Mrs. Spivey's first year serving as Kershaw County School District's Technology Integration and Implementation Specialist (TIIS). She has been an educator for 28 years and brings an array of educational experience, serving as a classroom teacher, curriculum writer and consultant, interventionist, and educational technology coach.  Her responsibilities include integrating technology into the classroom to facilitate a blended learning environment, implementing technology programs within the district, managing digital resources, and providing training to teachers as they utilize technology to enhance the learning of all students in Kershaw County. Mrs. Spivey has a Bachelor's Degree from Northwest Missouri State University, a Masters in Educational Technology from Lesley University, and has earned many professional hours in professional development, literacy, and technology. Mrs. Spivey's professional points of pride include district finalist teacher of the year, and serving on a leadership team that led the school to receive the U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon status. Her personal points of pride include her husband Andy, her son Nicholas and daughter-in-law Mikaela, who both serve as engineers for the Department of Defense in Aiken, South Carolina. Emilie, her daughter, is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education and hopes to become a teacher like her mom!
