Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! This is my first year at Stover Middle School. I absolutely adore the Elgin community and am excited to have the opportunity to teach 6th grade science.   

After graduating college, I taught 5th grade for 2 years in Richland 1 and then moved to Richland 2 where I taught 4th grade for 3 years and 5th grade for 2 years. This will be my 8th year teaching! I am excited to start my middle school journey here at Stover. 

I have a daughter, Laken, who is 3 years old and is obsessed with anything dinosaurs. I also have 2 German Shepherds, a cat and 4 chickens.

I graduated high school from Ridgeview High School in Columbia, SC and earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from The University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. 

I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and pets, as well as reading a good book.
