My name is Allyson Raines and I am excited about starting my first year teaching 3rd grade at Wateree Elementary. I am from Columbia, SC and graduated from Winthrop University in 2013. In 2018, my husband and I moved to his hometown of Lugoff, SC so that our children could attend schools in KCSd. My daughter, Abbigail, started at Wateree as a kindergartener in 2019 and will also be in 3rd grade this year, and my son, Cameron, will be joining WES as a Kindergarten this year. I have 2 German Shepard's, Luna and Memphis, and they keep us laughing. In my spare time, I love to read, try baking new desserts and serving in the children's ministry at my church. 

I am so excited to have you join me this year for third grade. We are going to "Have A Positive, Productive Year" here at WES!
