Hello!  My name is Cory Lowery, and I teach 3rd Grade.  I am thrilled to be joining Pine Tree Hill and KCSD this year!  I am truly fortunate to come to a district and school where academic achievement, student engagement, and family involvement are at the core of what we do.  

I have over 19 years of experience in the field of education.  My Bachelor's degree is in Childhood Education and Biology, and my Master's degree is in Literacy Education.  I have previously taught third grade, fourth grade, Kindergarten, and Pre-K.  Third grade truly is where my heart is!  My family and I are originally from upstate NY, but we now call Camden home!  My husband is a Project Manager/Polymer Scientist.  My oldest son is a senior at Camden High School, and my youngest son is a 2nd grader here at PTH.  We also have a (mischievous) 1 year old dachshund named Betty!

I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with our students.  There's so much to be excited about in 3rd grade!  Community, communication, and collaboration are the pillars of my classroom.  Please feel free to reach out to me at any time with feedback or suggestions.  Family input is an invaluable component towards a successful school year!  Here's to an exciting year of growth!
