Welcome!

My name is Alyssa Connell and I am excited about being your English teacher!

I am a Kershaw County native and a proud graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School. I am honored to return to my alma mater to share my passion for literature with my students! I have a BA in English from Brigham Young University and am currently working on my MA in English with an emphasis in 20th century American Literature. Besides literature, my other areas of interest are The Beatles, Broadway musicals, watching professional cycling, and playing the piano and flute.
