Welcome to 3rd grade !!! 

Hello, I am Mrs. Martinez and I am excited about being your child's teacher this year. I am a first year teacher but my husband and I have five children. I have always had the passion to teach and watch young people learn and grow. I was a substitute teacher last year while completing my studies and have some experience with children that have disabilities.

We love animals and have three dogs and three cats.  My husband is from Florida and I am from New York, but we have lived in South Carolina since 2016. When I say New York, I am talking about the countryside in the upstate, not the city and I was raised on a dairy farm. In my free time I like to read, travel, cook and just spend family time doing things together. We use a few different sign languages and I plan to show your child the basics, like please and thank you. Thank you for sharing your child with me and this year we will be growing and learning together.
