I am so excited to be starting my 11^th year of teaching, but even more excited that this will be my first year at Camden Middle School!

I attended the University of Tennessee (GO VOLS!) and received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with minors in Middle School Education and Business as well as my Master's degree in Education. I also attended Lincoln Memorial University where I received my Educational Specialist Degree with a focus in Instructional Leadership.

My husband, Will, and I got married in December of 2020. We are definitely a house divided, cheering on the Tennessee Vols and the Carolina Gamecocks.  Our first child, Thomas, was born this past March!

I have taught in both 6th and 7th grades, Math and Social Studies and this year I will be teaching 6th grade English/Language Arts. 

My teaching philosophy is very simple. My goal is for students to become responsible, resourceful, and respectful citizens who have a love of learning!

I am so excited to get to know each and every one of you!
