Hello Everyone! My name is Raychelle Andrews, and I am brand new to Kershaw County School District. This is my first year as a school Counselor and I am excited to be here at the Continuous Learning Center. I am passionate about working with students and helping them to be the best they can be at all times to become productive 21st century learners. I received my B.A. in Human and Community Services/ Psychology from Lenoir-Rhyne University, and I received my Master's of Education from South Carolina State University. I previously worked as a substitute teacher with ESS for Lexington Two School District during the 21-22 school year.
I will be working with the 4th-12th grade students here at CLC and following the ASCA School Counseling model, and CLC's G.R.O.W Mindset.
Through the ASCA Model standards, I am able to talk about and address the Social/ Emotional, Academic, and Professional needs of the students. A few examples of topics I can talk about range from Career Assessment, Anger Management, Bullying,Self-Esteem, test-taking skills, etc.I look forward to getting to know each and everyone one of you and working with your students for this upcoming school year!
Please feel free to reach out to me if I can be of any assistance to you and your child. Let's make it a great year!
