Hello! My name is Florette (Flo) Jackson. I am so excited about starting my 17th year of teaching 4K as one of the newest members of the Blaney Elementary Wildcat family! I look forward to an awesome school year ahead!

I am a National Board Certified Teacher with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Walden University. I received my Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a major in Child and Family Development and a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). I am a state certified teacher mentor and a member of the Palmetto State Teachers Association. I speak English, Tagalog, Cebuano, and I am working on my Spanish proficiency (perhaps I should try learning more German too!). 

On my days off, I like to spend time with my husband, Steven, and our 2-year-old son, Luke. I enjoy reading, shopping, traveling, going for walks, and trying out different types of food.
