I am the Administrative Assistant to Mrs. Melissa Royalty, Director of Behavioral Health Services. I have been employed by Kershaw County School District since 2019.

Prior to moving to Kershaw County, I lived in Newberry, South Carolina where I taught 1st grade for six years at Newberry Academy and served as their Curriculum Coordinator. After that, I was the Program Coordinator for Newberry County First Steps as well as the Technical Assistant. I am currently serving as the State President for the South Carolina Early Childhood Association.

In 2009, I graduated from North Greenville University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Psychology and Elementary Education. I am currently obtaining my Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education- ITL. 

I have 2 sons, Colton, 11 and Cash, 7. You can usually catch us either on the baseball field or football field. We are a huge sports family! I enjoy working out, watching my boys play different sports, and reading. I also enjoy the adventures and challenges life throws each day.
