Hello! I am Shelby Troublefield and this is my first year teaching. I could not be more thrilled to be teaching in the district that I grew up in! I am a Camden High School Graduate and I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina Beaufort with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have a dog named Macy Lane who has special needs. I am obsessed with her, and if I am not in the classroom she is always with me. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, going on vacations, shopping, reading, and watching Disney Movies. I am in love with all things Disney. I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher and give back to my community. I have a passion for teaching and helping guide students to be the best version of themselves. I am so excited for our year together and getting to know your student and help guide them through an awesome year of first grade.. I believe that building children's confidence and self-esteem is key to their success! Go Dolphins!
