Hello! I am Savanah Derington and I am so excited to teach third grade at Midway Elementary School this year. This will be my second year teaching and first year in third grade. I previously taught kindergarten. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in early childhood education in 2021. At Winthrop I had much experience in the classroom and completed a year long internship in first grade. I am from Lugoff and graduated from Lugoff Elgin high School.  I am so glad to be back home! Outside of school, I enjoy being with my family and friends. I have four siblings and two adorable nephews, Hunter and Henry! I am excited and looking forward to working with you and your student this year!
