My name is Maegan McBride, but I prefer to be simply called “Molecular” Maegan and I will serve as the new Earth Science teacher this year. I’m super excited to join the Stover family and cannot wait to learn, explore, and grow with you all. This school year is gonna be EPIC!

Though this is my first-year teaching in the school system, I have worked with students ages 4-18 for over twenty years (so long ago, Facebook wasn’t even invented and there was no such thing as an iPhone). I’ve tutored, mentored, and taught science, technology, engineering and math principles to thousands of students throughout South Carolina. 

My birthday marks the first day of Spring! (Kudos to anyone who can tell me when that is.) I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in the Pee Dee. I went to Columbia College, right here in town and I still live in Columbia, along with my wonderful family. We have 3 amazing kids and we’ve recently expanded our family by two feet with the addition of our son, Priestly! And although he is new, he was ranked the #1 most difficult quarantine kid in America, if you're wondering. But I’ll keep him!!  I look forward to joining the team.
