I am thrilled to return home as a 7th grade social studies teacher! I was born and raised in Elgin, graduating from Lugoff-Elgin High School in 2011. I went on to graduate from North Greenville University, where I met my wife, Merry Custard. She’s a teacher in Kershaw County as well. We have three beautiful children, Kobie, Frankie, Champ, as well as our chocolate lab, JoJo. Whether we are taking family adventures, enjoying the outdoors, cheering for Kobie at gymnastics, playing basketball, or having dance parties in the living room, there is never a dull day in the Custard household! I am the head football and basketball coach at Stover Middle School.

I am so grateful I’ve been given the opportunity to encourage, empower, and educate the children of my hometown as an educator. We will have a great school year; there is no other option!
