Hello and welcome to 2nd Grade! My name is Christie Turbyfill and I am so excited to be teaching 2nd Grade at Wateree Elementary School. I would like to let you know a little bit about me.  I was born and raised in Lugoff and attended school in Kershaw County.  I received my Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina and my Master's Plus 30 from Francis Marion University. This will be my 21st  year teaching!!  I taught 11 years in first grade and this is my 10th year teaching 2nd grade.  I love the beach, traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.  I love teaching and am so thankful that I get to go to work everyday doing what I love!
