I am a mathematics education teacher at North Central Middle School. This is my second year as a classroom teacher for KCSD. For my first year of teaching, I taught 7th and 8th grade face-to-face, virtually, and simultaneously. I am excited about teaching 7th grade solely this year as I feel I am prepared to help our students become successful, not only this year, but next year as well! I am certified to teach 4-8th grade math. 

Aside from teaching at NCMS, I also lead my local youth group on Wednesday nights. I am originally from Pennsylvania (approximately 2 hours east of Pittsburgh). While in PA, I attended Slippery Rock University for my undergrad and graduate program. I moved down here in the summer of 2020 with my goldendoodle, Mandi. She loves being outside chasing squirrels and enjoying the South Carolina weather!

Students are highly recommended to use my Assignment Tracker to keep track of what we are doing in class, the assignments given, as well as what homework is due throughout the week. Each unit in Canvas has "Extra Math Help / Helpful Tutorials." These additional resources are helpful for parents, struggling students, and those who were absent or out for quarantine.
