The last two days have been beyond amazing. KCSD school staff had the opportunity of meeting one on on with our amazing MCEC trainners. We played games and picked their brains on creative ways to overcome obstacles and daily challenges that our military families may encounter. Let's just say work was easy today!!!! Thanks again MCEC for putting togeher a fun yet educational training.

A huge shout out goes to Pine Tree Hill Elementary School. The Administrators and Staff members assisted a family in surprising their two young children with the arrival of their mom; who has been mobilized in Texas for the past 8 months. The pictures below were captured at this heart felt reconnection of this family.

Purple Star schools and districts advance the requirements of the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission, MIC3, by seamlessly connecting students and helping them stay on track for ongoing academic success.
