I am very excited about serving as the Senior Army Instructor for the Camden High School JROTC Bulldogs! I was very fortunate to have served over 23 years on Active Duty, first as an Enlisted Soldier/Non-Commissioned Officer and culminating my career as a Commissioned Officer. I am honored to say that I am a product of an ROTC commission from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. This opportunity allowed me to attend an excellent university, graduate as a distinguished honor graduate, and, more importantly, leave with no student debt. I deployed in support of our country during Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. This is my seventh year as a JROTC instructor, and there is nothing I enjoy more than instructing and mentoring high school students. I pray that I can help and mentor them to grow into productive citizens using all resources to help them fulfill their lives' destinies. Conversely, they also help me grow in my communication skills and ability to adapt and stay relatable…not only as an instructor but as a mother for my twin girls, Kaleigha and Kalese Wallace. I consider myself a lifelong learner as I am currently completing my doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership....you are never too old to learn something new.
