Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to Camden Elementary School, home of the COLTS! We are excited to finally be in our new building and looking forward to the 2019-2020 school year. We are delighted to have you as a part of the Camden Elementary “family”. There is nothing quite as exciting as the first days of school – greeting old friends and making new ones.
It is our belief that every child can and will learn at Camden Elementary School. Schools are for children, and our goal is to provide the best possible program for each child. In all our decisions, we keep the focus on meeting the needs of our students.
At Camden Elementary, we expect our students to be successful. Our job is to provide appropriate activities and to encourage students to do their best. Students and parents also play a critical role. Students must listen in class, participate and be respectful. Homework should be completed daily. Parents can help by teaching their children the value of education and respect for school authority. All of us working together can ensure your child’s success.
We know communication between parents and the CES staff is vital. We want parents to feel free to share information and concerns. A phone call to the teacher or school office (425-8960) can arrange a conference with your child’s teacher or the principal.
As this new school year begins, let us all renew our commitment to working together to help each child grow intellectually, physically, social, and emotionally. The 2019-2020 school year will see us GALLOPING TO GREATNESS and one filled with tremendous student success!
