Hi, my name is Ciji Van Tyne and this is my first year at Camden Middle School.  Prior to becoming an Eagle, I spent 11 years teaching in Richland Two.  Throughout those 11 years, I have taught 7th and 8th Math and ELA.  I am also in my 8th year of coaching the Westwood girls varsity volleyball team.  I was born and raised in Ohio and attended Bowling Green State University.  After graduating, I moved to South Carolina for my first teaching job and have been here ever since.  My husband and I are expecting our first child towards the end of October, and we are hoping our dog Hemi loves the new addition to our family as well.
