My name is Carol Bowling and I am THRILLED to have YOUR child in my 4th grade classroom this year!!!  I would like to extend a sincere welcome to your family as we partner in your child's education.

This will be my 25th year teaching fourth grade at Wateree Elementary.  Time certainly FLIES when you're having fun!!  My husband, Doug, and I live at Lake Wateree and have two amazing children.  Leanna, 19, is a 2021 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School.  She is on a college path toward becoming a nurse.  Jay, 17, is a senior at Lugoff-Elgin High School.  He plays LE Demon varsity baseball, a game he has loved since he was five years old.  (Don't blink!)  We have 5 dogs.  (Yes, 5)  Four labs; Lakyn, Gauge, Wallen, and Tucker, and Randi, a K-9 who works with my husband. 

I LOVE teaching and positively impacting the lives of children! I take my role as a teacher seriously and hold this profession in very high regard.  My primary goal as an educator is to reach every child as an individual and help each one become confident, successful, life-long learners.  I achieve this goal by creating a classroom environment that is safe, warm, and feels like a family.  I set high expectations, use humor appropriately, and provide new and creative ways in which to learn. I want my students to know that I genuinely love them and care about WHO THEY BECOME.
