I graduated from Columbia College where I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have a master's degree, from Francis Marion University, in Instructional Accommodations. This is my 19th year teaching. I have been fortunate to teach in Kershaw County School District for the past 17 years. I was honored to be recognized as the 2013-2014 Wateree Elementary School Reading Teacher of the Year. My husband and I live in Kershaw County. We have two children. Brent is 19 years old, and graduated from Lugoff Elgin High School. Colden is 15 years old and is in the 9th grade. I am looking forward to an exciting school year!
