Mrs. Teri Luther

Teri Luther is the Work-Based Learning Coordinator for KCSD. The WBL Coordinator works with KCSD middle and high schools in the coordination of work-based learning opportunties for students. These opportunities include job shadowing, school-based enterprise, structured field studies, internships and apprenticeships. 

She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in Real Estate and a Masters of Adult Education. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Leadership from the University of South Carolina. Teri worked in the commercial and residential real estate industry for 15 years. In addition, she has extensive experience in retail and small business management. She left the private sector for the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center to assist start-up companies. She then transistioned to become the Community Economic Developer for Athens-Clarke County, Georgia.

After meeting her future husband, she moved to South Carolina and worked for 6 years as an apprenticeship consultant for Apprenticeship Carolina. During that position she worked with employers in the creation and implementation of industry specific apprenticeships. 

Teri and her husband Wade, have two sons and a very old Pug.
