Ms. Faith Brown

My name is Faith Brown and I am excited to start my first year in Kershaw County School District at Lugoff-Elgin High School as an Academic Seminar Teacher.

I am a native of Effingham, South Carolina, and currently live in Florence, South Carolina. I am the proud mother of Pierre A. Brown, an employee in Lee County School District.

I bring greetings from Florence School District One where I served for 22 years as an educator. I believe our students teach us how to teach them; thus teaching makes me a learner as well.   "The ultimate gift I can give to others is my integrity. The ultimate gift I can give to myself is an education." ~Faith Brown

I earned a B.A. in Sociology from Coker College in Hartsville, SC; a Masters in Integrating the Arts with a Specialization in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University; a Masters in Special Education K-12, Multi-Categorical from Grand Canyon University Phoenix, Arizona; and I am currently a doctoral student at Grand Canyon University, studying Organizational Leadership K-12.

My hobbies include, but are not limited to: reading, writing, singing, skating, talking, meeting new people, and spending family time with my son.  I look forward to a successful year of learning, motivating, inspiring, and encouraging students to be their best!
